Fay Allwood: Textile Artist and Quilter Fay likes to use her personal experiences as the inspiration for her textile pieces and is at present working on her memory line series to provide a narrative to her life. She took a step away from quilting to study a Textile Foundation Course at Morley College, where she explored a variety of new techniques. She is currently experimenting with various methods of printmaking, machine knitting and painting on textiles to provide the imagery for her wallhangings. Fay is an honorary member and past president of the Quilters' Guild. She chaired the Quilt Judging Team as it developed the Quilt Judging Course and was instrumental in the Guild's participation in the Festival of Quilts.
